Our story
Same city.
Shared future.
The World We Share began with a belief: students’ potential should have room to grow, wherever they live.
From Sacramento.
For what’s next.

Born and raised in Sacramento, Cherokee A. Moore is a nonprofit founder, published academic, and finance professional committed to closing the resource gap in Title I schools across California.
A father of two and a student himself, Cherokee brings a personal understanding of what it means to balance responsibility with ambition. He is a member of Phi Theta Kappa, the international college honor society, and has earned academic recognition for his college work. He plans to attend Morehouse College in 2027 to complete his bachelor’s degree in Applied Business Management.
His work has long connected education with economic opportunity. He previously co-founded Conscious Assets, working on financial-literacy programming for students, and has held leadership roles with the Tuskegee Airmen community supporting youth aviation, mentorship, education and career development. He currently serves as Vice President at Parallel Wealth Partners.
As a writer, community advocate and nonprofit leader, he returns to the same belief: Literacy is Liberation. His Sacramento upbringing and experiences working with students helped shape The World We Share—a response to the uneven access to books, creative resources, mentors and recognition that can limit a student’s opportunities.
Sacramento is the starting point. Through practical resources, creative learning and trusted local relationships, Cherokee is building toward a national movement that makes scholarship, curiosity and achievement part of everyday culture.
Our philosophy
Culture carries
the message.
Books, fashion, music, film and art can open the door to learning. We want curiosity to become something students belong to.
